To our beloved Clients,
I wanted to take some time to update you on the current status of the salon and when we will reopen indoor services, the short answer is I don’t know.
Yesterday, Friday August 28, the Governor announced his new 4 tier plan. The tier we fall in has allowed us to reopen for indoor services, per the Governor's announcement, and we were so thrilled! Then we realized it wasn’t that simple, we have to wait for the county to approve the opening first.
As of right now, the county is still forbidding indoor hair services. County officials are reviewing the governor’s new plan and will hopefully make an announcement sometime this week. According to the Sac Bee article “You can get a haircut inside a salon again soon in California under new COVID-19 guidelines” BY SOPHIA BOLLAG AND TONY BIZJAK AUGUST 28, 2020 01:39 PM , UPDATED AUGUST 28, 2020 06:19 PM. On the covid19.saccounty.net website the restriction has not been lifted. I have been trying to reach someone within the county that would know, but have been unable to do so. As soon as I receive the go ahead, we will reopen.
In the meantime, each of our stylists are getting prepared; our salon has been clean and sanitized, stations have been spaced apart, PPE has been ordered and guidelines reviewed, so when you do come in you can rest assured that you will be safe. We are also reviewing our individual waitlists, if you are unsure if you are on the waitlist and would like to be, please contact your stylist or email email@example.com.
Thank you for all the love, support and patience through all of this. Hopefully we will be together soon.
A letter to our beloved clients
I’m so excited that Cerise Salon is reopening, and we are going to see each other again! We ask that you be patient with us while we navigate through this process. Although your experience may look a little different, I can promise you that your service will feel the same. During our time off we have kept up with the safety regulations, and have certified in Covid-19 specific sanitation.
Here is a little of what to expect:
We maybe asking you to fill out a health screening questionnaire and temperature check prior to your appointment.
If you are sick or are experiencing any symptoms of fever or cough please cancel your appointment with as much time as you can give us.
Please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer immediately after entering the salon.
Masks are required to be worn at all times. (We prefer over the ear so I can access your hair). If you don’t have a mask to be used during hair color, which may get a little stained, one will be provided.
I will be thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting my station and tools after every client and a new set up will be provided including a sanitized cape, towels, bowl, brushes etc.
If you come early please wait and send a text upon arrival. We will not have a waiting area.
Appointment times will be longer. I haven’t seen you in a while so I would love to give you the time you deserve!
Bring your water and a snack, we have temporarily suspended providing refreshments and magazines to avoid any unnecessary cross contamination.
If you need to remove your mask, you are welcome to do so during your processing time outside.
Please come alone. We are keeping the number of people down in the salon. If at all possible, please leave children, family, and friends at home. With exception of caretakers.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your sytist!
