Hello I’m Amy, Owner and Stylist at Cerise Salon.
I have been serving in the Sacramento Arden Arcade and Downtown Areas for over 20 years. In 1999 I started Beauty School and went on to assist under two amazing hair stylists. Through them I gained the opportunity to study at Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco, LA, and London. During my assistant program I completed my certificate as an American Board of Certified Haircolorist (ABCH). Quickly afterwards I was chosen to be the in-salon assistant educator, this is where I truly found my passion!
One of my specialties as a stylist is precision haircuts, using the Vidal Sassoon Method. My second specialty is hair color, from natural looking color to amazing vivids. I have been collecting certifications my entire career, including but not limited to; Alfaparf, Aveda, and Wella. I strongly value education, continuing to learn more about the art of hair. I am kind of a science nerd and love explaining the chemistry of your haircolor process.
I was born and raised here in Sacramento and still live here raising my children. We are a military family, my husband is part of the medevac unit with the National Guard stationed out of Mather. We have two, not so small, kids- one girl and one boy. On the weekends we love spending time together in our backyard, swimming, hosting bbq’s or just watching movies.
When you sit in my chair you should expect that I will listen first, find out more about you, your lifestyle and (of course) your hair! You can rest assured that I have the skills and experience to know how to work with your hair, no matter what type of hair you have. With your ideas and my knowledge of hair I know we can work together to give you the hair you always wanted.

Color Test Strand-------------------------- $25
45 minutes We will test strand 1 small section where you can't see if your hair can hold up to the process for the desired look.
Haircut -------------------------------------- $88
60 minutes Vidal Sassoon Technique haircut.I spend time getting to know what you want. After we agree on a plan, you will be shampooed. I will cut your hair. and blow-dry style your hair.
Express Cut---------------------------------$58
45 minutes. Precision haircut on short hair that does not need styling. Great for Men, Children and pixie haircut only. Not every cut applys up to stylist decresion. no shampoo or styling included. Also can be added to another service.
Color Touch up--------------------------------$110
90 minutes Includes a root touchup up to 1" I will spend the time to get to know what your desired color and develop a custom formulation. You will have a precision application. Includes a shampoo and blow-dry styling.
Root Touch Up and Face Frame Highlighlights-----$160+
145 minutes Includes a root touchup (1")
Color touch up with an Express Cut --------------$165+
90 minutes. Receive color touch up (all restrictions apply from root touch up) and cut. Includes cleansing shampoo, Haircut, custom color touch up, hand massage, rinse and condition, and blow-dry style.
Color Change--------------------------------$120+
105 minutes I will spend the time to get to know what your desired color and develop a custom formulation. Includes root to ends color. Depending on the desired result the time and cost may increase. This service does not include foils but you can add-on. You will receive a precision application. Includes a shampoo and blow-dry styling.
Express Color----------------------------------$65
45 minutes. Custom color applied processed and shampoo, no blowdout. only for existing clients with formula. Not for color changes
Highlights ------------------------------$160-$200
120-90 minutes. full highlight-partial. Also includes a Shampoo and blowdry styling. .
Highlights with express cut-----------------$210-$252
145 minutes Includes a root touchup (1") Extra time and product may result in an extra charge
Blonde Me----------------------------------$375+
4hrs roots to ends bleaching or very heavy highlight. Price varies on time to preform service. I will spend the time to get to know what your desired color and develop a custom formulation. You will have a precision application. Includes a shampoo, treatment and blow-dry styling.
Blonde Me touch up--------------------------$200+
120 minutes Includes a root touchup (.5") Price varies based on length of time to preform service. Reasons for extra time included but not limited to overly grown out hair, medications, well water, and other color.
Vivids--------------------------------------$400+
5 hours Includes blonding Treatments, and vivd toners
